You are Included in God’s Plan Jesus gave us a task and a promise before He left planet earth: “But ye shall receive power, after the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.” Acts 1:8 KJV The commission is the culmination of this Age. The emphasis on making disciples of all nations is to all of us. You and I have a part in God’s plan of reconciliation and He promises to be with us always. We must be serious about following the commands of Christ Jesus’. Matthew 9:37-38, which says, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that He will send forth laborers into His harvest,” has never been more relevant. Many locally and globally are crying out for a Christian witness. Are you willing to be part of the answer? Unlimited possibilities for long and short term service are before us. I challenge you to study the Word, to give generous love gifts and be a marathon runner for the Lord in this great task of sharing the Good News of Jesus. Maybe you are like me, weary at times, wounded sometimes, but keep pressing on for Jesus Christ and His Kingdom. “O Lord, make this vision of reaching all people with the Gospel real to us, to be a doer instead of a hearer only.” Amen! We all feel we are living in the perilous last days. Well here is a great promise: Matthew 13:39, “The enemy who sowed them is the devil, the harvest is the end of the age, and the reapers are the angels.” May we be prepared for this time of harvest we are entering into. Thank you for being among those willing to go into the harvest field and labor. Thank you also to those who are training up laborers for the Harvest.
