Visit Us “Return we beseech You, O God of hosts; look down from heaven and see, and visit this vine and the vineyard which Your right hand has planted, and the branch that you have made strong for Yourself.” Psalm 80:14-15 Psalm 80 is an appeal to God to save His people from their adversities that have come upon them. The heavenly Vinedresser is asked to look upon the state of His vine and graciously visit it. There is an appeal for God to restore and enliven that which He has planted. “Then we will not turn back from You; revive us, and we will call upon Your name. Restore us, O Lord of Hosts; cause Your face to shine, and we shall be saved!” Psalm 80:18-19 Revive us and we shall call upon Your name. Restore us and we shall be saved from all our enemies. Lord, You are what we need for peace and security. May we enjoy Your love and care. My prayer is: “Lord, look upon and visit Your people whom You have planted and make us strong for Your purposes.” May we become the pleasure of God for His Kingdom pursuits. Our fulfillment and destiny begins with a response to the knock upon our hearts. In this Kingdom time we need the approbation and favor of our Heavenly Father. Let us cry, “Lord, strengthen the sons and daughters You love. Let Your loving face shine upon Your children and cause us to rise and shine.” There is a growing desperation in my heart for closer fellowship with Abba Father. May the favor and approbation of the Lord rest upon you in the coming year. May you experience His mighty grace working through you, and may the light of His countenance shine upon you.
